Customer Support ICT Administrator

The position

ORBYT GLOBAL is continuously growing and we are looking for an ICT Administrator to become a valuable member of our Network Operations Center (NOC) team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT Managed Services and infrastructure, ensuring their reliable and efficient operation.

Furthermore, he/she will take an active part in escalation procedures and coordinate with multiple internal and external teams. In addition, he/she will be responsible for documenting, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft systems, servers, and cloud environments (including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory). 
  • Monitor system performance and ensure security, reliability, and scalability of network and server infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users and systems across the managed systems.
  • Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify recurring issues and recommend enhancements.
  • Manage hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing and security standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and connectivity.            
  • Accurately document support cases, resolutions, and follow-up actions within the ticketing system.
  • Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and internal documentation.
  • Identify and analyze client system requirements to design and propose effective systems solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience as an ICT Administrator or Systems Administrator.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) systems is essential.
  • Microsoft Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or related will be considered a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, networking, virtualization and Active Directory.
  • Experience with security tools, patch management, and system monitoring software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
